Booking Terms

1. Quote Requests

All bookings are subject to availability. When you submit a quote request through our website, you are making an enquiry for our services. A booking is only confirmed once we have contacted you to confirm availability and you have received written confirmation (via email or text message) from Mayflower Cars Plymouth.

2. Pricing

Prices quoted are estimates based on the information provided. The final price will be confirmed when we respond to your enquiry. Prices may vary based on:

  • Actual pickup and drop-off locations
  • Time of travel (e.g., unsociable hours)
  • Waiting time beyond the standard allowance
  • Additional stops requested during the journey
  • Special requirements

Once a price is confirmed and the booking is accepted, we guarantee no hidden charges or meter surprises.

3. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the journey unless otherwise agreed. We accept:

  • Cash
  • Card payments (contactless, chip & PIN)
  • Bank transfer (for corporate accounts, by arrangement)

For airport pickups, payment may be requested in advance to secure the booking.

4. Passenger Responsibility

Passengers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate pickup addresses and contact details
  • Being ready at the agreed pickup time
  • Informing us of any changes to travel plans as soon as possible
  • Ensuring luggage fits within the vehicle's capacity
  • Any damage caused to the vehicle during the journey

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation

You may cancel your booking free of charge if you notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

Late Cancellations

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted fare, at our discretion. This is to cover the cost of reserved time and declined work.

No-Shows

If you fail to appear at the pickup location at the agreed time without prior notice, this will be treated as a no-show. The full fare may be charged.

Airport Pickups

For airport pickups, we monitor flight arrivals and adjust pickup times accordingly. If your flight is delayed, your pickup time will be adjusted at no extra charge. However, if you fail to meet the driver within 60 minutes of your flight landing (after clearing customs and baggage), waiting charges may apply or the booking may be treated as a no-show.

We pride ourselves on punctuality. For airport drop-offs, we recommend being collected with plenty of time to spare. If we are late due to circumstances within our control, we will work with you to find a solution.

Flight Tracking

For airport pickups, we track your flight and adjust pickup times for delays at no extra cost.

Vehicle Standards

All vehicles are maintained to high standards, fully insured, and driven by licensed, DBS-checked drivers.
